Historic Monster Hunter streaming trends from tracked streams.
How these statistics work
Figures cover completed Monster Hunter streams in the selected game and time range. Most community numbers start from each channel's duration-weighted average viewers for its streams in that scope, then summarize across channels. That keeps a single long partner broadcast from rewriting the whole community.
Why we measure community health this way
- Median viewers is the typical channel (half of channels sit at or below this size). It answers "what does a normal MH streamer look like?", not "how large is the total audience?"
- Share ≥10 viewers is the percentage of channels whose typical size is at least 10 concurrent viewers — past the micro end of the long-tail. On a long-tail catalog the median can sit at 2 for every game while this share still moves, so it is the better health comparison across titles.
- p75 viewers is the upper-mid channel (three quarters of channels are at or below it). It shows the healthier part of the roster without using a single celebrity peak.
- Community mix by game stacks each game's channels by viewer-size tier as percent of that game's streamers. Absolute stream counts mostly show that Wilds is popular; the mix shows whether each title's roster is mostly micro-channels or has a thicker mid-tier.
- Streams per week and day/hour charts are activity (how much MH was broadcast), not audience size. The current incomplete calendar week is omitted so partial weeks do not look like a collapse.
- Attention leaders (and per-game top channels) rank by viewer-hours (typical viewers × hours streamed). That is who pulled attention, deliberately separate from community-health KPIs.
- Session count is the number of completed broadcasts MH Tracker logged while live under an MH category. It can exceed videos on a channel's Twitch past-broadcasts page (VOD storage is separate). Long streams may appear as multiple sessions when tracking reconnects after brief API gaps.
- Active community and most active small streamers lists exclude celebrity-scale averages (50+ typical viewers) so the page surfaces typical hunters, not only attention leaders.
